Voted “Best of Westchester” in Westchester Magazine’s annual 2014 poll and named one of the “Top 10 Things To Do In Yonkers” in 2015 by The Journal News/LoHud.com, YoFi Fest is curated by award-winning film and television professionals and designed to encourage audiences and filmmakers to watch and talk about movies together.
We’ve grown from our humble beginnings of three days at a library to an international festival that will span eight days at six locations and include Oscar-winning filmmakers. This year we plan to screen over a hundred films, including features, shorts, documentaries, animation, music videos and student work. There will also be networking events, educational workshops and the ever-popular receptions and nightly parties where audiences and filmmakers will get the chance to connect and converse.
